When it comes to Fire System service and maintenance, we like to do things the Smart way.

It’s a legal requirement that commercial buildings regularly have their fire safety equipment regularly serviced. When that time comes around, we like to do things the Smart way. In order to cause as little disruption to your daily operations as possible, we make your convenience our top priority.

Ensuring you are prepared

Our Smart appointment automation lets us manage all of the admin, allowing us to get in contact with you when it’s time for a service and work with you to arrange the best possible time to carry it out. With Start With Smart, you won’t have to worry about meticulously keeping track of your fire service history, making us the Smart choice for a business that wants to have its fire servicing taken care of hassle-free.

When we carry out a fire service and maintenance visit, we’ll be ensuring that your fire alarm systems are in top condition. That way you can be certain that you’re prepared for a fire outbreak at any time and that you’re always in the best possible position to reduce fire damage to your property and save lives.

During a fire equipment maintenance visit the tasks we will carry out normally include:

  • An inspection and testing of all of the components of your fire alarm system. This includes checking to see if it makes audible sound, ensuring they have not suffered any damage, checking any internal batteries and making sure that the connection between the alarm and the ARC is working as expected.
  • Writing up a full report of all work carried out, and the overall status of your fire safety equipment.
  • Producing a Certificate as proof of your visit. This is a legal document that must be kept safe by both yourself and us in order to ensure that regulations are being complied with.

If you’re in charge of a commercial property, it is your responsibility to ensure that your building is up to fire safety regulation at all times. Fire safety negligence can lead to serious trouble down the line, so think Smart and make sure that you’ve got a quality fire equipment service. As a BAFE BS5839/1:2017 accredited company, you can trust us to handle your fire safety servicing without tying you into any contracts. With Start With Smart, your safety always comes first.
